Champagne Velvet Light

As a concept project for Upland Brewing Company, Champagne Velvet Light is an extension of the pre-prohibition beer Champagne Velvet, originally owned by Terre Haute Brewing Company, and brought back to life by Upland. Upland’s Champagne Velvet brand was created as a near exact replica of the original 1902 branding and can. One of the oldest beer brands in the country is given this “light” treatment due to modern market trends. The goal of this project was to give Champagne Velvet an elevated, modern look, while maintaining the brand’s heritage and impressive history.
